Dr Thomas Joseph BDS, MDS, ADC

Dr Joseph graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Dentistry on merit from Government Dental College, Trivandrum, India in Year 2000. After one year of private practice, he secured third rank in the state entrance exam to qualify for post graduation and attained his Master’s Degree in Conservative Dentistry and Endodontics in the year 2004.

In 2005 Dr Joseph obtained his license from Health Authority of Abu Dhabi and started working as Dental surgeon in private practice. His commitment to the patient care brought him an opportunity to work for the Ministry of Abu Dhabi. While working he continued to pursue his studies for Australian Dental Council Exam to fulfill his dream to settle in Australia.

Before buying into Melbourne dental group in 20 Collins Street, Dr Joseph worked in private practice in Glen Waverley and Lalor. He was excited to find his philosophy to coincide with that of his predecessor Dr Peter Tomlinson- based on TRUST, CARE and ETHICS. Overall he has 17 years of expertise in providing excellent comprehensive care to his patients both locally and internationally.

Dr Joseph is a member of Australian Dental Association and is currently a registered General Dentist with AHPRA (Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency). A valued dentist of Melbourne Dental Group, he has extensive experience in wide range of advanced dental procedures including Root Canals, Dental Implants, Crowns&Bridges , Cosmetic Dentistry and more.

Throughout his career he has been attending regular continuing education programs to keep up his knowledge in modern dentistry. He is currently pursuing his MRACDS (Membership (GDP) – Royal Australasian College of Dental Surgeons) in General Dentistry.

Dr Joseph understands the importance of having a dentist you can trust and believe in. One of his greatest rewards is helping patients who have been in pain by alleviating the pain and bringing them back to optimum health. He will listen to your concerns and expectations and take time to explain your dental needs. He is keen to give options and come with a treatment plan that is in line with the best interest of his clients.

Besides dentistry he loves music, sports and travelling. He believes Melbourne is a great place to live and raise a family because of its multi-culturalism, parks and regular social activities. He likes to be part of the crowd and in the midst of social activities. During his leisure time he enjoys  spending time with his wife and two boys.
